Tony Cragg -Espécies Raras- in Museu Brasileiro da Escultura e Ecologia, São Paulo

Tony Cragg, a British artist residing in Germany and one of the most important sculptors in the world today, is one of the rare artists who works with a wide range of materials and displays familiarity with all of them. Besides drawings, the show presented at MuBE features sculptures in wood, bronze, steel, stone, aluminum and glass. His production reveals an intimate relationship between the chosen materials and the final appearance of each piece, even though some strong colors can mislead us.
